I’m a First Nations cowgirl whose is based from the beautiful Secwepemc Territory, in BC.
I live and breathe horses. I fell into photography one day while we were training a horse in the round corral; the sun was peaking thru the fresh leafs in the trees, the horse was kicking up dust & everything about the moment was 'our life', when I looked back on the camera later, I thought 'wow I took that!'. The rest is history, I spent countless hours figuring out how to work a camera and how to express that thru images- Horses, and our western lifestyle.
My husband- Jordan Camille, and I live in Deadmans Creek, BC, on a ranch where we train horses using a natural horsemanship method. You could say I was born to the saddle, galloping my horses around the Secwepemc Lands, riding amongst wild horses, competing at Rodeos, showing in 4H, and being involved in anything that included animals.
We live a balanced life, we share time for each other to chase our dreams, and as well, working together actively pursuing our Stages in Natural Horsemanship, we love what we can create in our connection with horses. If your interested in our horses please jump over to www.camilleshorses.com to see what we do with them.
What can you expect by meeting me?
You now have an understanding of who I am and what my style is, so lets discuss You.
What is your vision?
I like to have you 'invision what it is you want me to capture', don't be shy, explain it to me. When I have a sense of what your hoping for, then it ads to the moments, I am able to search them out and capture them on camera. Just be you, be real, don't try to pose or model, most times we want the authentic connection.
You will be surprised by what I see.
